Our strategic pillars
Our sustainability strategy is integrated across our business. It is built upon three pillars, each contributing to our commitment towards a more sustainable future. The first pillar, ‘Climate change and environmental action’, focuses on supplying lower-carbon LNG supporting global sustainability, reducing our carbon footprint and developing new lower-carbon energy solutions, curbing operational emissions, capturing and offsetting hard-to-abate emissions, minimizing and recycling waste through circular practices and protecting the environment throughout our operational activities. The second pillar, ‘Operational responsibility’ underscores our dedication to the safety of our people and assets, as well as to operational excellence. The third pillar, ‘Social and economic development’, reflects our commitment to creating positive socioeconomic impacts. This pillar encompasses caring for our people, as well as creating value and sharing it across communities.
